Middle School West "5th Grade" Art students participate at the Minnesota State Fair 

For the 2023 Minnesota State Fair, STMA Middle School West art teacher April Erickson had 39 fifth grade students (now in sixth grade) enter their artwork into the competition. The 16 students won an award for their artwork and 23 students won participation ribbons.

Recently, students received their awards from the art competition. A lot of the art entered was from a printmaking lesson that Erickson taught her students.
