Open House, Parent Meetings & School Pictures

5th & 6th Grade Open House & School Pictures

Tuesday, August 25, 2026:  4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Students entering 5th and 6th grade are invited to attend our Open House to become familiar with Middle School West, meet their teachers, drop off school supplies, and practice using their lockers before the first day of school.

School pictures will be taken throughout the event from 4:00–6:00 PM. We encourage all students to have their picture taken during Open House to ensure they receive their student ID card by the start of the school year.

7th & 8th Grade Open House & School Pictures

Students entering 7th and 8th grade are invited to attend our Open House to reconnect with staff, meet their teachers, drop off school supplies, and practice using their lockers before school begins.

School pictures will be taken throughout the event from 6:00–8:00 PM. We encourage all students to have their picture taken during Open House to ensure they receive their student ID card by the start of the school year.

5th Grade WEB Orientation

Monday, August 24, 2026
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Middle School West

We are excited to welcome our incoming 5th grade students to WEB Orientation!

The WEB Program (Where Everyone Belongs) is designed to help students feel welcomed, connected, and confident as they begin their middle school journey. During the morning, students will:

• Meet our outstanding 8th Grade WEB Leaders
• Tour Middle School West
• Participate in fun team-building activities
• Learn about the school and what to expect during their first year

This is a great opportunity for students to become familiar with the building, make new connections, and start the school year feeling prepared and excited.

Please Note:
WEB Orientation is for 5th grade students only. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend their student's grade-level Open House, where you'll have the opportunity to meet teachers, explore the school, and receive important information for the upcoming school year.

New Student Orientation for NEW 6th - 8th Grade Students

Thursday, August 27th, 2026, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

New Student Orientation is designed for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who are new to STMA Middle School West.

During this event, students will have the opportunity to:

• Meet other new MSW students
• Tour the building
• Meet members of the MSW staff
• Learn about daily routines and school expectations
• Ask questions and share any concerns about starting at a new school

Orientation begins promptly at 1:00 PM and concludes at 3:00 PM. Students should come ready to connect with new classmates, explore the school, and have some fun!  Note: This event is for students only!

Fall Activities Meeting
Thursday, July 30, 2026, 5:00 PM at High School PAC

If your 7th or 8th grade student plans on participating in a sport or activity this year, please plan on attending this meeting. Additional Fall Activities Eligibility information can be found on our Activities page on the school website.
